These images are taken from a photo story I did about the underage music scene in London in Nov/ Dec 2006. Over the past year or so, several promoters have started putting on live music events aimed specifically at the under-18s age group. Often the teenagers themselves play an active role in the organisation and promotion, as well performing in front of their peers. I decided these teenagers would be interesting to follow, as they were part of a rapidly expanding new music scene aimed at and largely dictated by young people.
